Got Questions?

WE’VE GOT ANSWERS

We know electrical work can come with a lot of questions. Here are some of the most common things homeowners ask us—answered clearly so you can feel confident and informed before getting started.

Inspirational image asking, 'Where are you able to work?' with a serene lake and mountains background at sunrise.

We serve most of Western New York. At this time, we do not perform work within the City of Buffalo or the City of Niagara Falls due to local requirements.

Text asking if you are licensed and insured over a scenic lake background.

Yes. Trimmer Electric is fully licensed and insured, giving you peace of mind that your electrical work is completed safely, professionally, and up to code.

Text asking about the typical cost of electrical services against a sunset background.

Costs vary depending on the project. We provide upfront estimates so you know what to expect—no surprises.

Text asking about needing a permit for work with a scenic sunset background.

Many electrical projects require permits and inspections. We handle the process to make it easy for you.

Image asking about what size electrical panel is needed.

This depends on your home’s size and electrical usage. We’ll evaluate your system and recommend the right fit.

This could be a tripped breaker, a GFCI issue, or a wiring problem. We can diagnose and fix it quickly.

It depends on your current panel and available capacity. We’ll evaluate your system and let you know if it can handle the load or if upgrades are needed.

Clearing access to the panel and work areas helps us get started right away and keeps your project on track.

For certain jobs like panel upgrades, yes—but we’ll always let you know ahead of time and keep downtime as minimal as possible.

Information provided on this page is for general guidance only. Every home and project is different—please contact us for a personalized assessment and estimate.
