Join us for the 5th Annual Jimmy F. Memorial Blood Drive, held in partnership with ConnectLife, as we honor Jimmy’s memory and support our community.
In addition to the blood drive, the event will feature an outdoor craft and vendor fair and a basket raffle, with proceeds supporting the memorial.
Visitors are encouraged to donate blood, shop local vendors, and take part in the basket raffle throughout the day.

We’re Jess and Gary, a guinea-pig loving couple in Williamsville. We started the rescue in June 2024. I was at Bassett Park doing a vendor event and met someone who was also a guinea pig Mom. During the conversation, I said “Oh! We run a rescue too!” (This was NOT the case at that present moment). I remember pausing with my hand over my mouth as the woman said “I actually need to surrender my guinea pig! This must be fate!”
I went home and told Gary “We’re just gonna rescue one. How bad can it be?”
When we got Cinnamon, we realized she had bladder stones. Gary made the heartbreaking decision a week later to let her cross the rainbow bridge, as I was out of town at the time. In our heartbreak, we realized that Cinnamon was sent to us to encourage us to formally start the rescue.

Fight Kids' Cancer!
This September, we're riding to end childhood cancer and save little lives.
Every hill we climb and every mile we pedal will be to honour those lives we've lost and stand with those brave kids still fighting to survive. These kids won't give up, and neither will we.
Our goal is to fund life-saving research to develop safer and more effective treatments, and find cures for all childhood cancers.
Because kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it.
